Condo Renovations in Toronto
Condo-compliant renovations coordinated with building management and trade windows.

Overview
What a condo renovations project involves
Renovating a condominium is a different discipline from renovating a house. The building's declaration and rules govern what you may change, when trades may work, which elevator they may use, and how materials reach the unit. Ignore any of that and the job gets stopped.
We deal with property management before the work begins: submitting drawings for board approval, arranging insurance certificates, booking service elevator windows, and scheduling noisy work inside permitted hours so your neighbours have no reason to complain.
What’s included

Common questions
- What am I actually allowed to change?
- Broadly, what sits inside your unit boundary. Plumbing stacks, exterior windows, balconies and anything in the common elements are not yours to alter. The declaration is the authority, and we read it before quoting.
- Will management approval delay the start?
- It adds time, typically two to six weeks depending on how often the board meets. We begin that process early so approval and material lead times run in parallel rather than back to back.
- Do you handle the flooring sound rating requirement?
- Yes. Most buildings specify a minimum acoustic rating for hard-surface flooring. We select an underlay that meets your building's stated figure and provide the documentation for management.
